In 1964 the doors to Wesley H Brown Accountants opened in
Athens, AL to fill out tax returns.
Wesley Sr. hired an accountant to assist with this part time venture, as
he continued to work a full time position at Redstone Arsenal during the
day. In 1966 the business began taking a
few accounting clients and in 1978 Wes Brown Jr joined the firm and the
business grew steadily. What began as a
tax season business, developed into a larger accounting firm that today handles
both small and large businesses and meets the needs of local individuals, as
well as, out of state clients. In 2013,
Jonathan Brown joined the business bringing 5 years of corporate experience,
and in 2015 Jeremy Brown came on board to round out the team with his knowledge
of marketing, retail, and sales.
Wesley H Brown Sr passed away on January 21, 2017.
Wesley H Brown Jr became a CPA in 1983 and has 35+ years
of experience in all phases of tax and accounting.
